Guiding beliefs:

  • People and animals alike are always doing the best they can with what they have at any given moment. When they know better, they do better.
  • Trust, respect, love, and positive reinforcement form the foundation of extraordinary pet relationships.
  • Positive reinforcement is the gold standard for effective training. It fosters stronger bonds, builds desired behaviors faster and promotes lasting results.

My journey
My passion for animal welfare blossomed when I started volunteering at a no-kill animal shelter in Houston in 2017. Witnessing the transformative power of positive reinforcement ignited my desire to help pets and their human companions achieve harmonious coexistence. I gave my life to dog and embraced my calling to the world of dog and cat training. I immersed myself in the science and art of behavior modification through the magic of positive reinforcement and earned my CPDT-KA and CPDT-KSA certifications through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. I earned a Fear Free Shelter certification to help reduce stress in shelter pets. I am also belong to the International Association of Behavior Consultants.

This dedication to staying at the forefront of animal behavior and training ensures that I provide my clients with the most up-to-date, science-based methods and approaches.

Why I do what I do
I founded Pawsome Pet Pal with the mission of helping humans forge unbreakable bonds with their furry companions. I do what I do because I found that Venn Diagram of what I’m good at and love doing, what other people and their pets need, and what helps make the world a better place.
