One of my least favorite dog chores is cleaning Kongs. If you think about it, the thing that makes Kongs so difficult to clean is exactly what makes them such great, long-lasting enrichment items for dogs.

Then the other day, while I was standing in line at Petsmart to buy cat food, I spotted something that changed everything.

A Kong cleaning tool with a price tag of about $6.

Well, I had to have that. I bought it and tested it out.

It worked. Like a charm.

Do yourself a favor if you use Kongs with your dog and hate cleaning them out and get one of these from your favorite retailer.
