My journey into the world of animal behavior began in 2017 when I started volunteering at a no-kill animal shelter in Houston. There, I witnessed firsthand the incredible transformation that positive reinforcement could bring to the lives of vulnerable pets. The experience ignited a profound desire to help animals and their humans forge stronger, more harmonious bonds. I gave my life to dog—and cat!—and immersed myself in the science and art of behavior modification.
This dedication led me to earn my CPDT-KA and CPDT-KSA certifications through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers as well as a Fear Free Shelter certification, and to join and volunteer the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, in addition to ongoing shelter volunteer work.
My learning didn’t stop there. I believe that “when we know better, we do better,” and this philosophy fuels my lifelong commitment to continuous education. I’m dedicated to staying at the forefront of animal behavior and training research, ensuring I provide my clients with the most up-to-date, science-based methods and approaches available.
I founded Pawsome Pet Pal because I discovered that sweet spot where my skills and passions align with a genuine need in the world: empowering humans to build extraordinary bonds with their furry companions.
